Apply to be a CUCR Deputy

What do deputies do?

CUCR seeks applicants for deputy board member positions. Deputies play an important role in the organization by assisting board members to carry out the club's activities. Although they don't have voting power on the CUCR board, deputies influence the direction of the club by participating in board meetings and putting on events. Many deputies win election to the executive board within a year. Deputies are expected to attend weekly board meetings and all CUCR general member and speakers series events.

How to Apply

Send a resume and brief personal statement to cucr.president@gmail.com. The personal statement should be no longer than 500 words. Really, don't sweat it. We just want to understand why you're interested in joining, why you're a Republican, what you think you'll learn from participating in CUCR, and what you bring to the table. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis, but the last interviews will likely take place at the end of September for the Fall 2019 cycle.
